Our wonderful Mardi Gras Ball took place on Saturday night at The Village Hotel and raised a staggering £30,000. The evening was a huge success thanks to all our lovely supporters that came along, some who come year after year and those that came for the first time....

Morgan Sullivan Memorial Fishing match was held on Saturday 21st July at Hemmington Lakes, Castle Donnington This is the third year the fishing match has been held in memory of Morgan Sullivan who sadly lost his battle to Duchenne in 2015....
What an amazing night we had at the Furnley House Summer Ball they put on an incredible show and raised over £30,000 for Alex’s Wish. Over 160 guests enjoyed a drinks reception, great food and fabulous entertainment all evening....
Joe Burrows took part in the Belvoir Castle Tough Mudder this weekend, raising £367.00 for Alex’s Wish. The tough Mudder took place in the magnificent grounds of Belvoir Castle, nestled in the heart of Grantham, with rolling hills, natural creeks and serene lakes being interrupted by thousands of Mudders taking on the toughest obstacle course in the world....
This week we went along to the ‘Eggs’ in Rothley to unveil plans for the fourth annual duck race It was a lovely morning and great to see Barbara McCarthy and Louise Reynolds from The Jake McCarthy Foundation and Yvonne Pulford (Tilinanu Orphanage) helping to raise awareness of the event, which takes place at 6.30pm on Thursday 21 June in Bunney’s Field (near The Woodman’s Stroke pub)....

Our Great Gatsby Ball took place on 11th November at the Radisson Blu Hotel. The night was a huge success and we are incredibly pleased to say we have raised an outstanding £24,573.00 towards research and projects to help bring new treatments for all children living with Duchenne....

Alex’s School – Rothley Primary School invited all their children to take part in a sponsored walk which included a toddle for the youngest children, as well as a 3 mile and a 5 mile walk for the eldest children to raise money for Alex’s Wish. Alex leaves the school this year to start senior school so it was so lovely that they decided to support Alex’s Wish and they have been wonderfully supportive of him whilst enabling him to enjoy his childhood as much as possible....
On 26th May Steamin’ Billy had their annual charity golf day and we were so honoured that they decided to support Alex’s Wish as their charity. ...
