School fundraising

School fundraising and supporting your local community

We understand the importance of primary schools being involved and supporting the local communities in which they live in.

We would love to work with local schools and pupils to organise simple and engaging age-appropriate educational fundraising ideas, that can take place with social-distancing in mind.

All communications relating to Alex’s Wish and the cause will be written so that it is age-appropriate for primary school children.  We have already worked with a number of schools with our fundraising activities in the past with great success including Rothley Church of England School, Ratcliffe College and St Patrick’s Catholic Voluntary Academy in Leicester and received great feedback stating that the pupils really enjoyed the video and supporting Alex and Alex’s Wish.

Please download our primary school fundraising pack for more details about out fun and engaging fundraising ideas, which include:

  • Wear your Jeans Day – linking this to the jeans you wear with the genes inside your body
  • Design Alex’s birthday Cake – join Alex in his love of baking and engage pupils with a full artist competition
  • Wear your Christmas Jumper Day
  • Summer celebration – fill the sky with bubbles
