Beautiful inside and out: Miss GB finalists to support Alex’s Wish for fourth successive year

Great news. The lovely Miss Great Britain girls will be supporting Alex’s Wish as one of their two chosen charities for the fourth year running.

Last year’s Miss GB finalists and titleholders surpassed all expectations, raising record breaking amounts for us and for Cancer Research UK.

Their involvement with Alex’s Wish attracted a lot of very welcome publicity, helping us spread the message far and wide about Duchenne and our ongoing work to find a cure.

The Miss GB girls are a joy to work with. Thanks to the £22,000 they raised for us last year, we’ve been able to fund fantastic projects such as The DREAM Wheelchair, The Smart Suit, and Gene Therapy clinical trials – all to help children live a better quality and longer life.  We wish them all the best of luck this year.
