Ella is a nurse who has been caring for patients with Duchenne for 15 years, in hospital and in their own homes.
Ella was a finalist in Ms Great Britain 2023, competing in the pageant with the aim to fund raise as much money as possible for Alex’s Wish. She raised almost £10,000 for us through a gala dinner and charity auction, a sponsored abseil, and designing and selling a range of female empowerment T-shirts.
Ella will be using her role as a pageant link ambassador to support all pageant finalists wanting to raise money for Alex’s Wish. She is also planning two fund raising events for 2024, a gala dinner and charity auction and a ‘feel the fear and do it anyway’ event. Watch this space!
