Dr Glynis Wright MBE, an incredible supporter of Alex’s Wish over many years, joined our charity as a trustee back in 2018.
Since her time with us, Glynis has completed insane challenges including an aerobatic loop the loop, ridiculously high abseil challenge, a zip wire challenge, sky dive and wing walk raising thousands of pounds for our cause. But not only this, Glynis has also introduced us to oodles of new contacts and new trustees, made us Charity of the Year when she was the President of the Leicestershire Law Society, inspired many other insane people to sign up to our challenge events, donated and bought prizes at our balls, as well as being our critical friend as a long-standing trustee.
Sadly, for us, Glynis has recently stepped down from our board, and we would like to welcome Glynis to come forward so we can thank her in person for the impact she has made to the Duchenne community. We know she will continue to support our cause from afar. Thank you, Glynis.
