What is Duchenne?
Duchenne is an aggressive form of muscular dystrophy. From early childhood, muscles are progressively damaged due to a lack of a vital protein – including the muscles needed to breathe and keep the heart beating.
Thanks to the strength of our incredible community, real progress is already being made. Breakthroughs in research, drug development, and specialist equipment are helping some of the bravest boys in the world live better, fuller lives today.
