The sun shone again for our Charnwood Forest Cycle Ride

On the 12th May The Charnwood Forest Cycle Ride sponsored by Glynis Wright & Co took place and we were lucky enough again this year for the sun to shine. Over 180 cyclists took part over the three courses – with our 50 mile being the most popular. This year we raised just under £7,000 which is an incredible amount. We would like to thank all those that sponsored the event – Glynis Wright & Co, United Carpets, Jay Webb Consultancy, Bradley’s and The Woodies.

We would also like to say a huge thanks to Pedal Power for their mechanical support, Steph and her team for doing all the catering, all our Marshals and Cake Bakers without whom we couldn’t do the event.

Thank you too to all the cyclists that took part in the day – we have had some lovely feedback.

I’d recommend this to everyone – we are not cyclists at all but took it at our own pace and enjoyed every minute of it.”
