The High Sheriff’s Christmas Fundraiser, Leicester Cathedral

On 1st December the High Sheriff of Leicester, Tim Maxted and his partner Lisa welcomed 150 guests to Leicester Cathedral for a fabulous fundraising dinner in aid of Alex’s Wish and the work of the Cathedral.

We are so honoured that with the huge generosity of their guests they raised £50,110.53, with £30,000 to Alex’s Wish.  We would like to send a HUGE thank you to both Tim & Lisa for considering us a worthy cause, and also to all their guests that helped raise such a fantastic amount for Alex’s Wish.  This will make a huge difference to all families affected by Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
