Salusbury Harding & Barlow has chosen Alex’s Wish as ‘Charity of the Year’

We are delighted to welcome on board Salusbury Harding & Barlow, a local Leicester solicitor firm who has chosen Alex’s Wish as their charity of choice for 2016.

Emma Hallam quotes “It’s so wonderful to see yet another local business support our cause, we will be working closely with Lisa Bacon one of the firm’s directors over the coming months to help raise awareness and funds for our cause. This was always our aim, to attract local businesses to be involved in our journey to raise vital funds for boys with Duchenne.  As a local charity, we can work closely with local businesses to help engage staff by attending our events and for them to organise their own events.  It’s a great way to get staff involved in something outside of work and be involved in team building events.”

Lisa Bacon, from SHB  quotes “I first learnt of Alex’s Wish a couple of months ago whilst at the Love LBG networking event where Alex’s mum, Emma, gave a very factual and informative talk about Duchenne.  Everyone in the room were blown away with how well the talk was presented and I’m sure all of those in the room that had boys thanked their lucky stars that their family were not having to go through what Emma’s family are. Emma said that she didn’t want sympathy, she wanted help to find a treatment or cure.  Here at SHB Solicitors, we want to do everything that we possibly can to raise money to find that cure and find it quickly!”
