The World’s Strongest Boys launched by Duchenne UK is a campaign that focuses on the incredible inner strength and spirit of those living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, positioning them as heroes.Duchenne muscular dystrophy is a progressive muscle wasting disease that makes those living with it physically weak. But we believe that having to live with this reality makes them incredibly strong; it makes them the World’s Strongest Boys.
The World’s Strongest Boys are asking people to use their muscles to help them from losing theirs. Please do go to the website, meet the World’s Strongest Boys, and share with everyone you know. Even better, please film a feat of strength, post it on your social media with a link through to World’s Strongest Boys. Please encourage your friends to do this too, the more people who sign up to this movement, the more powerful it will be.
We were thrilled when Duchenne charity Duchenne UK approached us to see whether Alex would be able to support their new fundraising and awareness campaign World’s Strongest Boys.

As well as fully supporting the wonderful The World’s Strongest Boys Campaign. We are delighted to announce that on World Duchenne Awareness Day (7th September 2016), we joined forces with Duchenne UK as a “Partner Charity”, in our fight to conquer Duchenne. Alex’s Wish will remain as a strong and successful fundraising charity, and will co-fund Duchenne UK’s research projects and clinical trials.

The charity has been formed by the coming together of Joining Jack and Duchenne Children’s Trust, the two biggest funders of research in the UK in the last three years.
