In recent years various studies, trials and research has been taking place to look at ways to help delay the progression of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Below is a summary of the types of work currently underway. This is much work still to be done and we could be years away from finding effective treatments to help all boys. BUt the good news is lots of trials are underway and this gives us hope.
