Living for Today

It was literally great news to be a featured article in the Leicester Mercury, with Stan Hulme and Matt Daley’s Nordic Adventure. Articles like this raise lots of awareness of the condition and how that it affects those that have it and their family. However like the article says when you have a diagnosis like Duchenne in your life, it is not what defines you. Emma and Alex always try to focus on the positive, and they don’t spend a lot of time dwelling on the negative.

Alex enjoys school, loves his X-box and baking and has lots of supportive friends and is soon going to start his own campaign for the charity helping raising funds and awareness.
