Ladies Pamper Evening success

Our Ladies Pamper Evening took place on Friday, 6th February at the Rothley School Rooms with 65 ladies attending raising £1,500 for Alex’s Wish. All money raised will help fund new treatments to help all boys living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Money raised was through ticket sales, a charity raffle and donations in exchange for beauty treatments.

We would like to thank Aidan J Reed estate agents for sponsoring the wine and refreshments on the night.

On the night, we had various beauty treatments available (in exchange for donations to Alex’s Wish) including ladies from Ragdale Hall, Rothley Beauty Room, Elan Hair Design, Big Calm, Beauty Room Salon, Denise Rainford Acupuncture, Beau Beauty Salon, Neals Yard, Boots Thurmaston and Gavin Taylor Hair. Our ladies enjoyed mini hand massages, head massages, fake tan sprays, nail treatments, hair designs and much more!

We are also delighted that Champagne 4 all occasions was there on the night offering taster sessions and selling glasses of their beautiful champagne, yum yum. What could be better, wine, champagne, canapés, beauty treatments as well as donating to a fabulous cause!

This is a great example of Wish Warriors in action! School mums Tracey Maddock and Alison Etty have organised this event entirely on their own – thanks ladies you are absolute stars and thank you for being our Alex’s Wish Warriors!!!
