Tour de Foxes Cycle Challenge
Event Date: see details
Join Leicestershire CCC Foundation at their Tour de Foxes Cycle Challenge taking in the stunning scenery around the Leicestershire Cricket Community. This route takes in a minimum of 11 cricket clubs and includes stops along the way to allow for comfort breaks and refreshments.
This is sure to be a fun and sociable event whilst completing a challenging course, all to raise funds for charity.
As the challenge is a charity event, all riders are expected to raise money from sponsorship funds to complete the event. All money raised will go towards the Leicestershire CCC Foundation.
Once riders have completed the challenge, they will arrive back at the Uptonsteel County Ground, where the day will be rounded off by watching the Vitality Blast T20 fixture against Worcestershire Rapids.
Covering approximately 80 miles, the ride leaves from the Uptonsteel County Ground in the morning, heading south east before navigating along the country roads northwards in the direction of Melton Mowbray. The route takes the riders through the Soar Valley area, before heading north west and returning to the Uptonsteel County Ground via the western areas of Charnwood and travelling through parts of Hinckley and Bosworth & Blaby Districts.
Full details of the route will be shared to participants following completion of registration.
