An incredible result for our ‘back to the 80’s rewind’ ball…
November 12, 2024 8:24 amWow – what an incredible evening, honestly we loved it so much!! We arrived early Saturday morning at our hosts Winstanley House to set up, decorate and get everything in place to welcome our amazing guests, and as the day went on the excitement grew – the decorations, AV, the balloon arch…….and then the dancefloor went down and it just brought it all together.
We welcomed everyone with ‘Lemondrop’ cocktails featuring the amazing Alex’s Wish Gincello created by Multum Gin Parvo, our photo back drop donated by Creative Festivities which was added to with an incredible balloon arch!
The staging and AV was installed and run by MC Productions – who we have been working with for over 10 years now! A huge thank you to Martin Cullen for sourcing a lot of our suppliers and for providing the DJ – playing all the 80’s tunes!
We always love the winning combination of Ian Stringer and Kate Solomans-Freakley MCing our evening with their gentle balance of entertainment and keeping us all to time!
Thank you so much to Steven Havers from CorValu photography for capturing the evening with his photo’s (see below), Charlie Marsden videoing and the wonderful team at Winstanley House for helping it run so smoothly!!
Our Auctions were supported by A Star Promotions and they were fabulous and a huge support to us – thank you!
A huge thank you to Theo Bosanquet, who donated his wonderful holiday home to our Win a Holiday! And a MASSIVE thank you to all those that donated an auction or raffle prize – Cowens, Multum Gin Parvo, Rutland Nursery, Cureton Consulting, Winstanley House, 2 New St Chambers, David Hayes Export Controls, Debbie Moore Coaching, Tassell Design, Parker Classic Works, We Stay, Rothley Park Golf Club, Janine Edwards Wealth, Binks Yard, Revolution Corner House, Roxy Ballroom, Roxy Lanes, The Broadway Cinema, The Lost City Adventure Golf, and personal donations from Chris Everard, Caroline Hunt, Siobhan Goodacre, David Gilmore and Leigh Harrison.
The evening raised just short of £35,000 – thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone that came and made that possible!
