Alex’s Wish wins prestigious award

We are thrilled and delighted to have won this year’s Leicester Mercury Business Awards Not-for-Profit category award sponsored by PLUG interiors.  Alex’s Wish were presented with the award at the awards evening on Thursday, 21st April. Up against two amazing charities The Rainbows Hospice and Matt Hampson Foundation, we won! A short video of Alex’s Wish was played to 900 local business people at The Platinum Suite in Leicester.

Emma says: “Wow what amazing news.  We couldn’t believe Alex’s Wish had won such a prestigious award, especially as we knew the competition was so good! But to win was absolutely wonderful, the awareness on the night alone was incredible and we hope this will attract lots of new Business Wish Warriors to our cause.  We would like to thank PLUG interiors who sponsored the award and had a say in the decision and everyone else involved. We would also like to thank our latest Business Wish Warriors Regional Recruitment and Salusby Barlow & Harding for joining us on the night.”

The win will help Alex’s Wish attract lots of press articles to help us spread the word about our fabulous cause.
