Alex’s Wish Ethical Business Club welcomes three new members
April 13, 2022 8:17 amWe have welcomed three more local businesses – Synergy Personnel, Kazoo and SAS Accounting Solutions – to its Ethical Business Club. We are always looking to bring on new club members and we hope to attract even more fresh faces during 2022.
In addition, Janine Edwards of Janine Edwards Wealth Management, part of St James Place, has also secured a further 12 months’ sponsorship to the Ethical Business Club.
A great advocate of the club, wealth management adviser Janine has been a sponsor since its inception and sits as a trustee on our board.
She said: “We are delighted to continue to support Alex’s Wish in its mission to eradicate Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. There are so many benefits to becoming a member of the Ethical Business Club. Membership is also an excellent way of demonstrating your organisation’s corporate social responsibility and it’s great to know that your contribution is helping save lives.”
Business club members pay a monthly subscription, which gives them access to at least six annual events a year as well as valuable opportunities to network and raise their companies’ profiles.
Emma Hallam, Founder of Alex’s Wish, and mum to teenager Alex Hallam who lives with Duchenne, said she was thrilled to welcome the three new club members and to receive further sponsorship support from Janine Edwards Wealth Management.
Emma added: “We’d like to say a big thank you to all our business supporters and to our Club sponsor Janine Edwards Wealth Management. The Club is a great way of bringing together like-minded businesses and uniting them in a shared goal. It also gives Alex’s Wish an additional revenue stream, with all the money used to fund ground-breaking scientific research to find transformative therapies and technologies. The aim is to improve quality of life, but also stop the disease in its tracks.”
“For those companies who are thinking of increasing their CSR activity during 2022, our Ethical Business Club is a wonderful place to start – especially in this our 10th birthday year.”
