London to Paris Cycle Ride raises £25,000

July 14, 2016 12:40 pm

Alex’s Wish organised a London to Paris Cycle Ride over a 3 day period from 1-3th July this year.  With 11 cyclists taking part in the event the charity has raised a staggering £25,000 and money is still coming in. We are absolutely thrilled and delighted with the success of the event.  Our riders were incredibly grateful for all the organisation and said the event could not have been improved on. It was such a fabulous experience for all involved and Charity Founder, Emma Hallam and Events Manager Zoe Edwards personally took to the challenge!

Alex’s Wish would like to thank sponsors Mortgages by MME (Peter Simpson) and Will Planning Solutions (Rob Abel) for sponsoring the event jerseys and taking part in the event and KK Installations (Kenny Whomsley) for sponsoring the Support Vehicles.  We would also like to give a special thank you to our support crew Gary  Metcalfe who is part of the Cricket England team for being our phsyio/medic and Danny Edwards and Andy Hallam for being the bike mechanics and drivers.

Due to its huge success, this event will be run again in 2017. If you would like to be part of our 2017 London to Paris Cycle Ride, please contact Emma Hallam on 07903 349475 or email emma@alexswish.co.uk
