Anthony James based in Loughborough are Insurance Brokers with a personal touch. They are supporting Alex’s Wish as their ‘Charity of the Year’ and have supported a number of our events as well as organising their own including a golf day.
B Audio Visual has been delivering AV hire equipment, LED video wall, conferences, and live events to a wide range of clients. With three dedicated areas, B Audio Visual, B Installations and B Events they help to deliver Awards nights, AGMs, Conferences, Road Shows & Outdoor Events.
It is going to be a brilliant and unique relationship for Alex’s Wish, as B-Audiovisual will not be ‘fundraising’ for us, but they will be our Event Partner which will save us a huge amount of costs and time by provide all the Props, Sound systems and help with ideas for all our events – not only Alex’s Wish but our Business Partners events too.
Fashion UK, a leading Leicester-based licensed fashion company serving an international customer base, has chosen Alex’s Wish as a key charity to support this year. Fashion UK is also supporting our Business Club as an advisor and club member. Amongst other things, they organised their very own Valentines Ball bringing together 450 guests together to help raise vital funds and awareness for our cause.
Independent Financial Planners Furnley House are a vibrant and passionate team who care deeply about their clients and staff and the community in which they live. With their Head Office in Syston, they now have over 30 staff and offices in Magherafelt (Northern Ireland) and the latest addition of lovely new premises in Leamington Spa.
The team at Furnley House are already talking about their plans which are likely to include inviting their clients and professional connections to a Summer Ball as well as taking part in some established and organised sporting events and challenges – possibly a bake-off too!
Netmetix, are cloud network specialists based in Allesley, Coventry. Experts in their field, they will be donating £10 per month to Alex’s Wish for each new cloud server that they provide as well as giving regularly to our cause – this has resulted in monthly donations of over £150.
Salusbury, Harding & Barlow is a firm of solicitors that have been advising and assisting individuals, families and businesses with their legal matters for over 150 years. SHB have supported us now as a ‘Charity of the Year’ for the past 2 years, and has raised money through raffles, cake sales and taking part in our events. They are so friendly, supportive and great to work with and we look forward to working with them in future years.
Sort Ltd is made up of Sort Legal, SortRefer and Agent Butler, has decided to support Alex’s Wish in 2018.

Within moments of watching the short film about the charity, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house and we knew that we wanted to be a part of making a difference. We hope to raise funds in a number of ways, through in-house fundraising days, through our marketing campaigns and also through charity sports events. We hope to have a large number of our employees taking part in a sporting activity of their choice to raise money.”

Stephen George have lots of plans on how they will support Alex’s Wish over the next two years, including being a main sponsor at our charity Golf Day in 2017. One of Stephen Georges’ Directors Mark Smith, is taking part in an epic challenge in 2018 – he will be running from John O’Groats to Lands End throughout the month of September and wants to raise £50K for Alex’s Wish.
