Family Fun raises £500 for Alex’s Wish at the Duck Race

We were so lucky again this year with beautiful sunshine for the Rothley Duck Race, it was great to spend time in the local community – lots of families down at Bunneys Field.  We sold lots of Ducks for our Duck Race which actually got surprisingly competitive with our supporters all wanting a ‘win’.

We had our ‘Hook a Duck’, A Ducky Dip and our very popular Duck Biscuits made by Vicky Wills to provide a bit more fun for the children and also to raise funds for Alex’s Wish.

We are so pleased to say that the event raised over £500 for Alex’s Wish and we would like to thank The Nottingham for organising and also all the lovely families and businesses that supported us at the event.
